Hey, guys! In today’s post, I will be talking about my hobbies!

Baking: Most of you already know about my baking life because I’ve written about a lot of it on my blog. I learned from my Grandma when I was really little and as I got older I sort of just branched off. I’ve been baking for about 8 years and I just enjoy every part about it. I also competed on Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship last year. (most of you know that though lol)

Sports: I play a few sports for school. I played volleyball earlier in the school year and now basketball. I also used to play soccer when I was younger but things got complicated with my schedule so I decided to stop. I also play basketball, you can go check out my post about it. I played volleyball for my school for two years.

Taiko: I started playing taiko when I was in 6th grade. When I was younger, (like 3 or 4) I wanted to play when I got older. At my school, taiko is a mandatory class for 6th through 8th graders. They also have a performance taiko elective for more advanced students, but the teacher has to let you into the class. I’m currently in that class. I also take taiko outside of school. I am currently training to be in a youth group.

 

Sewing: I have been sewing since 3rd grade. I started sewing because it sounded really fun to make my own everyday things. Since then I have just been sewing and sewing. I have a sewing class every Saturday for about 2 1/2 hours. I make a lot of bags and little zip up pouches. Here are the pouches I made for me and my friends as we embark on our journey to Japan:

Musical Theatre: I have been performing since I was in 2nd grade. My old drama teacher asked me to play Little Ti Moune in Once on This Island JR. From there, I just fell in love with performing. Since then, I have been in 10 musicals, 4 dance recitals, and 6 musical showcases. In my most recent production, we did High School Musical. I played Gabriella Montez, the brainiac.

Hanging out with friends: I love having out with my friends! We usually go to our local mall a lot because it’s in a good location where all of us can meet. We like to shop and just hang out and eat food lol. Sometimes we will go to watch a movie. Like recently we all watched Shazam… which was a killer movie! We’ve gone to the beach a few times. That’s always fun.
